I am Nacho Dung, a Mexican-American, Houston-based, RGV-born artist. My work consists of a mixture of photography and digital art. A majority of my art captures the human form in portraits aimed at normalizing the rich diversity and beauty of the naked body — and the stories we all have to tell. From a young age, society teaches us to sexualize and compartmentalize our bodies. To unlearn this and see people as they are has revolutionized my love for everyone and how we fit, transform, and exceed the lines into which we are drawn. Each artwork is a form of connection, an exchange of ideas, and a true collaboration of art as the purest form of human experience.
