My name is Ronnie; I am a photographer living in Chandler AZ. I have been shooting off and on for close to 30 years.
I started out with nature and landscape (travel style) and moved into live music and event coverage. In 2007 I had my first taste of photography in a studio environment, and have been moving in that direction ever since.
I am self taught with the exception of a few classes here and there. Everything I do is experimental in one way or another. I have a Fly-By-The-Seat-Of-My-Pants style. Almost all of the photos in my port were unplanned and thrown together in the studio at the last minute. I believe that collaboration is just that, a model and photographer should work together and the final image should be a combined effort not just of skill, but from deep within.
ALL FIRST TIME and TF* SHOOTS are test shoots and will NOT be some elaborate, choreographed session with a Stylist, MUA and Wardrobe. I consider a first shoot nothing more than a laid back photo meet and greet. This is a chance to see if we can work together. If you want more control over the shoot hire me.
TF* for me is a chance to meet models that I would like to work with often. This doesn't mean that if you have a great or a specific idea that I won't be willing to help make it happen.
TF*:
Booking paid work only at this time, but it never hurts to ask me.
When I do accept TF* work, I provide a total of 5 edited images that can be downloaded from a private gallery. I do not EVER under ANY circumstance give out RAW or untouched images on CD. There are exceptions to this rule, but these are VERY RARE. You may NOT alter, edit or crop any image from our shoot without written permission and I have final approval. If there is something in the image you want edited (within reason) just ask or point it out.
TF* Image licensing:
Images from our shoot may be used in your port and personal websites (MM, OMP, MySpace, Facebook, Twitter etc). They may NOT be used or submitted to online EZines or pay sites. Many of these sites state in there terms of service that you must own the copyright and that all uploaded images become their property and you don't own the copyright, I do.
Work for Hire:
I DON'T what this means is I retain the copyright to the images I take; ALWAYS. When you hire me, you are paying me for my talents and a set number of edited images. You are NOT buying the copyrights to the images. Commercial Licensing options available just ask.
Model Expectations:
I do not pay models, UNLESS I contact you for a specific paying job.
Once arrangements have been made for a shoot, I need your email and contact number. I need a confirmation call 24 hours before our shoot. No call no shoot. If you stand me up for a shoot, we won't be rescheduling.
I expect that you will be prepared for our shoot. This means: nails done, hair done and clothes not wadded up in a bag (unless we are doing a specifically choreographed session, where clothes are optional or supplied, come organized and prepared).
If we are doing a Clothing optional/Nude session PLEASE wear loose fitting sweats, and nothing with elastic in the fabric. I am fairly proficient in Photoshop, but if it can be avoided before the photo is taken it makes my life a lot easier during touch-up.
Hair and MUA are at your expense, unless agreed upon in advance and in writing.
