Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area, Brianne Sparks excelled in the arts from a very young age. She discovered early on a passion sculpture and portraiture, working primarily in acrylic and oil paints. She graduated high school with honors in arts and crafts and, in college, majored in graphic design. Ultimately she found that she is most inspired by the human face, enrolling in a theatrical makeup class to focus her talents on this new canvas.
At the age of 19, she attended The Make-up Designory (MUD) in Los Angeles. She graduated the Master Make-up Artistry Program having learned all aspects of makeup artistry, including special effects, character and beauty makeup.
Afterwards, she returned to Bay Area and attended cosmetology school to add hair styling to her artistic repertoire.
Brianne has done makeup as an educator for many companies, productions, cosmetology academies and salons. Her unique ability to combine makeup and hair artistry has allowed her to train and be trained by the best, including Sebastian/Trucco Professional.
She has over 8 years experience in specialized hair styling and 12 years in makeup, largely in photography, as well as film, TV, theater, runway and special occasions. This versatility compliments her forte: Glamour, high fashion, fantasy and avant-garde makeup and hair styling for artistic and editorial photography.
