i shoot stories.
hello all! i am better known here on MM as trish - model # 1754, and I have finally gotten behind the camera. i exclusively shoot b/w film with a camera that is older than me, but do clean things up a bit with photoshop. i like mixing the old with the new.
for my film work, i am no longer doing TFP due to the expense of the medium, but my rates are extremely reasonable.... basically, i just ask to be reimbursed for film, processing and scanning...... my time and talent are available for TFP
If you are interested in working together, i can promise you:
- a fun, quick, stress free shoot (usually about an hour total).
- quick turn around on all images worth a damn (remember.... film... it still leaves me with a hint of mystery. anyhow, websized jpgs for your use via email. i will have everything to you within the week of our shoot.
- that i will never stick you on a seamless and tell you to "do something".
where/when/how:
- these shoots will typically take place on location around los angeles, or at my loft downtown. please be aware that if we shoot at my place, i have 2 doggies and 2 kitties, so if you have animal allergies, we probably should make other arrangements
- i work full time, so my photography is limited to weeknights, or weekend mornings.
who:
- female models comfortable with some degree of nudity. even if we never shoot nudes i prefer working with models who are open to the possibility.
- i shoot all ethnicities and body types. curves are GOOD. what i look for in models is a confidence that shines and the ability to emote. strong, sexy faces are more important to me than the "perfect" body.
now, for the juicy details:
- at this time, i am unable to pay models. i wish it was not the case, but it is what it is. film is expensive.
- if you want, i can assist you with hair/makeup. i have been in front of the camera 100's of times and have a pretty good clue what works and what doesn't.
- i am kind of a chain smoker. if that bothers you, i am probably not your kinda gal.
- all film. all b/w.
oh, and... i am a chick, i am cool.... would rather not have you feel like you have to be escorted to shoot with me. that is, unless your escort is neato looking and will let me take their picture too.

i just bought a nikon so i can conquer back lighting. i know. interesting reason for buying a digital, huh?
and i will probably take a self portrait doing our shoot because i am still a narcissistic whore.
