I just moved here from Milwaukee WI in Nov 2011. Even though I currently live in New Braunfels, I am in Austin almost every weekend just to shoot! I will permanently be in Austin as of May 1st, 2012. BIO
I'm a self-taught photographer that has been behind the lens for about 7 years now. I've had the pleasure of photographing aspiring models on MM, which I'm very lucky to have such positive experiences with so far. I recently took a stab at wedding photography, which I will be pursuing more of in the future. I've also done family photoshoots and promotional work for local bands.
I would say my style is more in the direction of high fashion and edgy. I concentrate more on angles and perception, rather than commercial. I'm always willing to work with whomever is down to create some artistic/dark/conceptual/controversial eye-catching images.
My Photoshoot Facts
I'm probably one of the most laid-back photogs you'll ever meet. I'm a huge dork with lame jokes and there will never be more than 5 minutes of awkward silence with me (when we're not in "shooting mode," that is) I like getting to know new people, so I may ask you questions to make you feel comfortable! Just be yourself!
My shoots usually last only about 1 to 1 1/2 hrs. I like to keep it short and simple because I really don't feel it's necessary to shoot for hours on end since the majority of the photos will look too similar. Plus, the earlier we shoot in the day, the better! I have a personal life too
I'm also very quick on emailing your photos. They are sent either the night-of the shoot, or the very next day- I kid you not! I know how it is to be so anxious to see the final product- I'm a chick! It's in our nature
