I've got some time around Thanksgiving to shoot, if anyone is game.
I've got access to a studio in Fairfax County on a regular basis. I also want to do some on-location shooting. I'm still new to the area, so when it comes to locations I could use a little help. I do drive around and look for cool places, but it takes a while.

I just bought an iMac. I feel all nerdy.
I recently moved from Anchorage, AK to northern Virginia. I'm predominately an artist. The 40-hour per week job pays the bills, and allows me to shoot what I want to shoot, rather than pays. I try to keep my expenses reasonable, but I don't mind spending some money to get the right shot. That means a neat location, a great MUA/stylist, a cool outfit, and/or a phenomenally talented model.
This fall/winter I'm going to rock some shots in some old houses, bed & breakfasts, yadda yadda yadda...
I'm definitely OK with escorts. If they get in the way I'll stop the shoot. I find they rarely get in the way, and I've only had to use my angry voice once or twice. I often bring an assistant with me. I'll always let you know if someone is tagging along, and I appreciate the same courtesy. MUA/hair gurus can turn a good photo shoot into a great one, and I try to have one whenever possible. They cost money (and rightly so), so keep that in mind.

The majority of people I've worked with have been in the Anchorage area, although some occasionally travel to the lower-48.

As I build more contacts in the NoVA/DC/MD area, I'll start replacing this list, although a few folks (Ben, Kandi, Kittie, Paige, Renee, Frankie, and Emily) will remain on here forever. Or longer.
