That seems to be the screamingly hot debate currently blocking creative thought out west.

I am not so sure and believe such debate fails to understand that

Anakin started off life poor, decent, intelligent and he worked hard to become top dog..THEN he was seduced  over to the dark side.
Bush started rich, lazy ,stupid and achieved nothing other than some heavy bar tabs before he saw the light and turned.
Therefore such comparisons are unfair.

Why do you liberals always engage in petty name calling? Get a job, get a life, and make something of YOURSELF and stop criticizing Bush. He has an MBA frm Yale, was owner of the Texas Rangers, AND was elected President twice. What\'s your claim to fame????

Criticizing the president doesn\'t make you a liberal.  I\'m politically conservative and I think George Bush is dumb as a rock.

Why do you liberals

When did LIBERAL become a bad word?

Listening to (so called) conservatives one would think that all (so called) liberals are lazy baby killers and heathens heading straight to hell.

Since when has that market been cornered by liberals? Name-calling a time-honored political tradition.

I find Bush to be proof that you can in fact buy ANYthing. Intelligence and skill not required.

I mean, he bought the degree and the Rangers. The elections they stand as the most contested in US history. There's still a large number of Americans that wouldn't say he wasn't actually *elected*.

You know, we may be liberal. But we're not stupid. We can tell the difference in connotations and we can tell if someone is using liberal as an insult. Thanks.

Yep - That is Jersey - But at least our governor did not steal the election for his brother.

We can count votes in NJ.

The only hanging Chads in Nj are in the work hole punchers.

Nothing personal, I like Mickey Mouse.
And Bush looks so much like him I just can not hate him. :-P

Relevent because Florida was brought into the discussion (by someone from NJ).
Bob Torricelli is a New Jersey Congressman involved in a scandal.

So because I feel bringin unrelated political events into a discussion about a contested election is irrelevant, I am stupid, right? THis is what you're going for here, no?

And what was it about liberals and name calling? I guess it's okay if it's under-handed. Or at least on your side.

jar jar = kerry....yes that's in keeping with the the theme...but
reminds posters of debate....
Do Vader and President Bush share a common vision of empire??

You're photographer in Italy.  Ergo you're a European.  Ergo you have a skewed view of what Americans are all about.  This non-topic has NOT been the hot debate in 'the west' and I don't see how our Creative thoughts are 'being blocked', thank you.

Some of the most intelligent and open minded people on the planet are well read/ well travelled americans like yourself Theda.
The "you live on a piece of cheese..ergo you are a mouse...ergo you make girls scream and run on tables" chap is not one of them, but is typical of the type of 'no facts required" mentality that is running your country.

You think your state have got it bad. Detroit's mayor spends city money on cars, bars and whores.
And the Michigan govenor is from Canada, raises taxes on cigs and wants to close down all the adult entertainment bars, and lets Canadian trash come thru the border to be dumped in Michigan.
