Oct 05 07 05:32 pm Link ***IMPORTANT UPDATE*** Today I received both a voicemail and an email message from the attorney representing Lara Jade Coton. He contacted me because he has no direct way of getting ahold of anyone here, so he asked me to relay a message. If you had a photograph stolen by TVX and used on one of the DVD covers, he would like to hear from you. I've already forwarded this info to the photographer I know of who's photo appears on that "Sunny" DVD. If one of your photos was taken by them, no matter how insignificant, CONTACT HIM! Here is the message he sent me: --------------------------- Manny, I just left you a voice message. I've been pointed to this thread on Model Mayhem: https://www.modelmayhem.com/p.php?thread_id=194350 discussing the ongoing theft of photos by TVX Films (Texas, USA) for use on their porn covers. That led me over to your DA page. I am the attorney representing Lara Jade Coton in her lawsuit against TVX (filed here in Tampa, Florida). I would be happy to discuss the issues with any other photographers who have had work stolen by TVX and to give them whatever legal guidance I could. Unfortunately, I have no way to reach these folks. If you could post something on either of these sites and ask other photographers to spread the word, I'll more than gladly talk to anybody who might contact me at no charge to that person. All my contact info is below and our firm website is www.allendell.com. Thanks and I look forward to helping out if I can. Richard A. Harrison, Esq. Allen Dell, P.A. 202 S. One of the requirements for protection as I recall is that you need to sincere effort defend your copyright. If you let one person steal your copyrighted material, then you can't really make a legitimate effort to prohibit or punish somebody else for doing the same thing.
