However, I made my website *after* getting the cards, so I got a rubber stamp that says www.grayvaleri.com on it. my boyfriend ordered it and he had an icon of a diamond added onto it (the feather and diamond are actually two of my tattoos, so he thought I'd love it), so I stamped those on, and it's completely silly looking. This thread has inspired me to get nicer cards -- but Im sad now because I really wanted to put an image of my work on there and now you guys say not to. Bummer. Apr 18 09 08:52 pm Link Well I don't have a biz card 2 show but I can share what I know......... my family owns a sign supply shop and they are always the first to tell me what's wrong with my cards (lol). Always make sure to have easy to read font! General info is always best ... don't go into to much detail people won't read it, because they are lazy (yes, sad reality) people need info fast, besides the main info is what you want them to remember (name, phone, addy). The best response on any biz card I have ever had, was printed on lime green paper that faded to brite blue, the feedback I got was that because the card was so bright people could find it fast and they always knew where it was, it was designed by a tattoo artist, he did what I wanted but added his twist, it was an awesome combo! They're super easy to describe though. So my cards are pink (rosey blush like) and brown. Mine are protrait-style, not landscape. One side is pink and on the bottom in brown, right justified, is my name, and then smaller underneath, my phone number. On the back it's brown and in the same position in pink it says "I do hair." Underneath in smaller text is says "i'm pretty awesome." Lol. I get lots of laughs handing them out, haha.
