Oddly enough, mine are super boring which is strange because i designed and printed them as i work at a printing shop. And despite being at work right now, i can't find a file! They are pink, turquoise and black without a picture of my work on them. Text on one side, graphic lines on the back. They are really simple which i like.

Tabitha, PM and i'll get you some business cards! i work right downtown and all the time!

I need to order - getting a new permanent telephone number first.

Mine are full name in silver foil on white linen.
custom clothier in black ink directly below and the phone number at the bottom in black ink - all centered.

Who I am, what I do and a phone number.

Edit:  My second card for celebrity/red carpet events is the same card - gold foil and booking agent instead of clothier.

Different foil to tell them apart easily.

Mine are kinda boring as well.  Straight to the point; Name, Wardrobe Stylist, number, website, and e-mail address.  I have one photo on the far left side.

VistaPrint!  I know I should get some better ones! LOL!

I had a custom die made, so they are all rounded like that. I love them. I'll keep that shape forever (as I now own a rather expensive die, lol), but will switch the image and info as my work changes.

((Removed cause it was yukky))

(the red dotted line is where it will be cut at so the pic won't be as harsh as that..)

These are my newest ones. I found a guy in Maryland on myspace that does the hard plastic business cards for a very reasonable price smile

I just emailed the pics and told him the colors I wanted and he did the layout for free and emailed me proofs within 2 days.

That's the front, and the back is a solid lavender color, same as the first name on the front. It's coordinated with the design of my website. It also has rounded corners to give it a more unique look.
It's funny, because I just got the in today, and this thread came up.

On another note, Sian, I love love love your cards!
EDIT: It looks blurry, but it's obviously not like that on the actual cards... wink

Bernice, you might want to change the size of the image, because where it cuts will be RIGHT UNDER her chin, and it'll look awkward.
Also, I'd change the image. I'm in general not a fan of images of a business card. Unless of course you're Sian Melton, who doesn't have a bad image anywhere...
Especially if you're now doing more natural looks, I'd put that on the card, not the crazier styles. Just my .02

The back was faded... almost like it was printed when the ink was running out. So instead of being pure black as the background, it was gray and faded...

Sian I LOVE your card. I have it in my purse and I always pull it out and show it to people, especially other makeup artists. It's pretty much the best card ever!

This is mine. Nothing on the back because I often write makeup or skincare advices on those.

This a what a professional card should like like

Sorry guys but having a picture of your work , or makeup brushes or lips ect ect
just makes you look unprofessional and kind of tacky no matter how awesome the work is on it .

I have both    a card with an image of my work and information
and a card that is simple clean and to the point.

I made the same kind of mistake by making a card with an image on it

My agency was horrified and made  me a buetifull clean card .

I have to say when I put the 2 side by side , the plainer cleaner  card looks 1,000 times more professional .
Looks like the guy with the clean card charges alot more and is worth more than the guy with the makeup image on it

I don't know if you guys are agency artist or even want to be but that is the information I got from my agency and I do agree, just from comparing and sad to say I do love my picture card lol,l but it is kind of one dimentional compared to my clean one

This is hot...
I like Izzy's too... *ahem* Elizabeth's...  both are hot.

Edit:  cosign on the minimalist approach.  some of the above are still very good though.  I didn't see any above, but some people want a card to do too much.

Manda's works - it's kind of rock n roll, but so are her clients, so it works - on a personal level I like it...
