best to bring an example shot - a print, or have one on a laptop, iphone, whatever.
but if you don't have any example, you can demonstrate, or explain it.

just like any other pose.

Reverse that.... Put your hands down on the ground in front in the center and move your legs out wide and looks towards me, right or left.... It really depends on who you are working with to how you can address it!

Can I just say that I love this shot....I think the way to explain replicating this pose is to ask the model to sit and put her hands down in front of her and and put one foot on the left rock and one on the right. She will do that and u didn't have to say "spread em"...
