Take one BMW Z-3 Roadster.

Drive down a divided highway and have another guy smash into you from the side and push you off the roadway.

Make sure there is a big concrete fixture with a light pole bolted to it, directly in the path of the car.

Slam into it at about 50 mph.

This is what your arm looks like 5 days later.

(well, my whole body looks like this in places).

No photoshop at all.

The funny styrations on the skin is the result of a compression bandage being imprinted into the bruising pattern.

Good to be alive.

Mark

Glad your alive!!!

I was involved in a one car accident that crushed both ankles, broke my left femur in to 10 pieces, left forearm in half, fractured my upper and lower jaw knocking out 15 teeth and collapsing my right lung.

Mark, glad to see you're alive also. Vicious looking scrapes and scratches. . .obviously it could be worse. You didn't break your right index finger. . .

Glad to see you survived.  Cars can be replaced, but not lives.

Just curious, what is the compression dressing for?  Was it for support around the ankle?

Looks like when I was little when I got my foot caught in the spokes of my bike (somebody else was peddling and I was piggybacking).  Hope it doesn't hurt as much as it looks like it does.

Now that your 'girly car' is crushed, and it is obvious that you are suffering mentally from your accident, find yourself Johnny Cochran's protege and sue for the BMW Z8!

Come on, you are posting on MM when you should be getting rest, that is a sure sign you are not of sane mind...and since you are in such pain and can't use your hands or feet, I can't believe you typed this thread with your a stick held in your mouth!  It's just incredible!

Don't you cry like a bitch from fear everytime you see a Z3 now?  Because of the flashbacks?  Psychological damage has got to be worth, what, say a couple of mil???

I'll expect my commission check in the mail for this inspiration.

Hey, wise ass, if his arm looks like that, what do you think the car looks like?

Get well soon, those look really sore. I still remember a bad parachute jump I had over 35 years ago. Chute folded at about 70 feet, I hit the ground rather hard, was in a body cast and traction for 10 months. 3 months recuperation and back on duty.
