How  many of you use them a lot? Do you know most of them?
Does it speed up your work significantly?

Personally, I use very few of them.  I'm a clicker smile Can't for the life of me remember many of them.

i use a lot of them... I don't think it speeds my workflow up that much, but the way I work I feel like its easier.

I use a few but still find myself clicking through as not to get confused when using other programs or my mac.
If you get used to programing your own actions however this WILL significantly speed up your finishing time on photos like, adding borders, your signature, watermarks etc.. one click and away it goes automating your image finishing.

It took me a long to to realize how important the shortcuts could be to shorting my production time.

I use them all the time now.

All the time; they're HUGE time savers.

D for default color, X to swap foreground/background.
Numbers for opacity of brush
Brackets to resize brushes
S/J/B for cloning, healing, or a regular brush
Function keys for favorite actions
et-very-cetera

I typically recommend a frequent PS user learn ONE keyboard shortcut every 3-4 days; the one function they accessed the most with a mouse. After a while, they'll have learned most of what they need, and can stop. (I figure I use 20% of the built-in shortcuts at the very most.)

Thanks for compiling the list...I know and use a few and I will keep your list out. My boss who writes lots of visual c +++ (ad naseum) programs we use, loves hot keys/macro shortcuts, so I've come to love them in a dr. strangelove sort of way.

I use a few, but I have keys on my tablet mapped to specific functions and I shove my keyboard out of the way while I work- one hand on the pen, other hand on the tablet. So usually I click instead of type, its much faster than fumbling for the kb.
