May 27 09 06:42 am Link dodge the center burn the outer ring of the eye and dodge the whites sometimes i clone/heal veins in the eyes May 27 09 10:01 am Link I always, always, always enjoy editing the eyes. it shows in my port, they're all over it! LOL:D EDIT: Sorry for the ginormous photo. :-S ^.^ May 27 09 12:10 pm Link Select and copy the eyes to a new layer, crank up the sharpness and saturation, dodge out some highlights. May 27 09 01:02 pm Link I still have room for improvement on my eye work. May 27 09 01:30 pm Link Lots of gorgeous eyes.. all retouched by me, some of the befores are in my portfolio. I just whiten the eye, enhance the pupil, possibly lighten the pupil.. darken areas.. dodge and burn the skin, add more eyelashes etc. May 27 09 03:15 pm Link I tend to dodge the iris, burn the outer rim of the iris and the pupil, take out veins, etc in the eye and dodge whites. May 27 09 03:47 pm Link Clean up veins and redness, fix and fill stray lashes, work on brows, redraw highlights to match as needed, reshape eyes to match as needed, remove lines and wrinkles as needed, brighten iris, and a bunch of other stuff. May 27 09 04:08 pm Link lol, desaturate the whites, brighten till whites are white... clone all black veins away, sharpen iris's marvel at the great eyes all above other than clone out veins can be done in adobe lightroom directly on top of the raw file May 27 09 04:35 pm Link I have a little method that I like to do on eyes sometimes... I basically create a layer either by: create new layer box & paint a white circle around the size of the color ring of the iris. or select eye color (there's a few different ways to do this & the results are interesting & different either way you go) & copy selection to a layer & change layer blend to screen. then: after I have done either method above, I will then: Layer >> Layer Style >> Inner Shadow & set choke to 10 then I: Layer >> Layer Style >> Bevel & Emboss >>Inner Bevel & set to Chisel Hard & adjust the sliders to get it more pointed in the center... This gives the light layer a 3D sculpting of the pupil shape & adds dimension to the lighting. Adjust opacity to taste... Paul May 27 09 04:36 pm Link |
