You would think that just the remote chance that they might meet the Clarkmeister in person would be enough motivation to show up, but I guess not.

That's right. That's why I raise butterflies.

Hey, a guy came to the Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden today (where I work) with a Nikon D800e and a HUGE lens. He also had a Canon 5D something, also with a huge lens. Both hanging around his neck! I calculate that was about $7,000.00 of merchandise he was carrying. He was taking pics of hummingbirds and butterflies, and then off to Hollywood to photograph a charity red carpet event with Kirk Douglas. I asked him why he chose the 'e' version of the D800. He said because he photographs a lot of actors with fancy clothes and the 'e' version eliminates the moire patterns from the fabrics. He said it works quite well.

I was unaware many models attended these functions. I thought they were primarily networking events for photographers.  That is great to know, Gary, thank you.

Gary,

You were telling me how you are looking forward to abandoning civilization and moving to the Seychelle Islands. When you get set up please do a group photo shoot here and invite us all:

We will need free airline tickets, of course. Thanks! https://images.proboards.com/new/cool.png

Last week on TV, they were saying that the Seychile Islands were believed to be the location of the "Garden of Paradise".  If we keep encouraging him, Gary will move there and tell everyone he's related to "Adam" or that he photographed "Eve".  Go get 'em Gary !!!

Hey Rosana... at Taco Tuesday tonight you're gonna have to distract Clarkmeister while I hijack his margarita.  His hallucinations are getting worse... lol

I've gotta lay off that Grand Marnier...it's VERY strong.

I'll pour two shots in Gary's margarita while he is not looking. Then I'll hijack all the guacamole while he is trying to figure out where he is.

I would love to come, but is there an age restriction? I am only 20. Also it would be a long drive from San Diego.

Hope to make it soon!

Hi Brielle... Would love to have you at the next Taco Tuesday.  We still have one more of the FREE 'Color Institute' makeup kits that we award to models who attend TT.  Show up next week and it's got your name on it... borat

Hey Arty... if you're SERIOUS about pickin up that cruiseboat photoshoot ticket... it's gonna take you and AT LEAST FOUR MODELS arriving at the June 16th shoot amigo (that gives you 5 qualifier tickets)... cause you're lookin at 5 other photographers already who have 2 qualifier tickets each... and NONE of them yet have indicated that they're bringing models.  Send me pics of those 4 great models... will need to post their photos at this link for the June 16th shoot... wink
