Interesting enough, I have run into quite a few other models and photographers on FB (not in the DEAC FB group) that also moved away from the MM forums. I'm not saying they should allow things to go severely off-topic in the pro forums, but perhaps they "should" look at their stats on forum usage overall for the past couple years.
