I think the highest compliment I can give another photographer is to tell them how great their lighting is in a particular photo.

I am looking for your very best lighting to add to my list. I take this list seriously, so don't get your feelings hurt if none of your photos make it. It's merely my opinion. smile

Open to anyone, but obviously this list is a way to compliment great lighting in a photograph, even though models and MUAH artists certainly very often play a major role in a great photo.

You may either post a photo below, or let me peruse your port in search of your best lit photo.

And yes, natural lighting can make this list (for me, natural lighting is far more challenging than studio lighting and I love a well done natural light photo).

Hint: I love shadows and drama in a photo.

John Milton will be the last one in this thread. Thank you to all who have played along!

Good...definitely! Not what I am looking for for this list, though.

You do have some other images in your port that are stronger in the lighting department.

The photo I chose is a perfect example of great use of natural lighting for a gorgeous photo. I am jealous of that skill!

This is the exact situation I hate being in...a great photographer with superb lighting skills, but I just don't see that one photo that I am looking for.

Please understand that not listing one of your photos doesn't mean I wouldn't love to spend some time assisting and learning from you. smile

You have some good shots, but none stand out as "great lighting". Sorry.

Listed, but I think you have to give half the credit that model for the years she spent crafting that physique. WOW!

Love all of your work, though. smile

You're another example of another very good photographer who is probably capable of anything, but I'm just not seeing that one photo in your port for this particular list.

Maybe I need a new list... "Photographers who consistently kick ass".
