I have a shoot coming this weekend, the model has requested a valentine candy shot, I know I've seen a million times. I need to find a guide for referrence - can anyone help?  It is simply candies places covering her crotch and breasts.  She is a bit nervous and I'd like to show her what a finished shot "should" look like!!

you really should discuss this with her.  it is possible she just wants pics of her fully clothed with a bowl of skittles on a table in front of her.  or nude with one skittle on each nipple.  or something in between.
communication could be critical here.

Check out Myssie Leigh's portfolio, MM# 2416698

Try hotlights and M&M's.

Just beware, most are done in a cheesy/lame manner.
