Someone stands between the two of us.. whacks us both on the head with the stick and pronounces "you're married!" We then take the stick home and hang it over the mantle. ... I'm not getting alot of traction with this idea, sadly. No you're not! You're a terrorist! You should wear a keffiyeh carry an assault rifle and have Laura dress up as Miss USA (because we're in 'Murica and the current Miss USA is a terrorist according to 700 people on Twitter). It would be amazing.

Nah, we're gonna honeymoon to the South Pacific in the winter. I'm spending my travel back to Toronto on sf2 I've still got one more party to throw before it's all over. The one last weekend went so incredibly well though, we had such a good time and it was amazing.

I cried but I cry at weddings, funerals, commercials, even G rated movies. At my wedding the priest dropped one of our rings and even tried to give me communion. I'm not Catholic and told him specifically NOT to. You can see me backing up away from it in the video. I can laugh at it all now.

We didn't have video and I didn't let anyone but our photographers have their cameras out so we can just pretend it went perfectly

My stepfather joked that the Rome tourism board must have made it because it had all these shots of the sites. Yes, I was married overseas. I'd rather have gotten married in Vegas and had it last LOL.

Congrats! Glad you had a good time. I plan on having a big 10 year renewal, when we have money and stuff. Getting married when you're broke sucks.

In my obsessive tummblring on the wedding tag I came across SO MANY (mostly 20somethingyo) people complaining that they wanted some big huge celebrity style elaborate wedding, that it was their DREAM, but they HAVE to get married RIGHT NOW and they can't afford it, so they were having a wedding they hated and felt resentment about it. I don't get it. If you really need to be married for some legal stuff then just go to the courthouse and do it and don't make ANY big deal of it so you can save your money for your real dream wedding whenever that becomes doable for you, otherwise if you really must have that extravagant perfect wedding of everything you ever wanted so that you can actually be happy....wait. Why can't you just wait? I actually fucking saw kick starters so some stupid impatient kids could have huge weddings they couldn't afford because they need to be married immediately and they're currently broke.

I wonder if anyone would be dumb enough to donate to that. How silly. We did a pretty small wedding, had to get married in hurry because of military stuffs. Someday we'll get our fancy wedding and honeymoon.
