Yup, it's just unsexy. I've tried various ones, over the years, to try and avoid the noise, but the ones that are quiet, just...don't do it for me. All that gel around the vibrating part lessens the vibrations.

Ours has gotten a little bit louder after 5+ years of heavy use and travel abuse, but it's still worlds away from the hitachi in noise levels. The LELO lines not bad, and vibrates similar to the hitachi. Problem is it's battery powered and you're fucked if you forget to charge it

I was very intrigued, but they are expensive.

*sigh* It's always nice to be told that if you're a woman who finds it difficult to climax through most means, that you're doing it wrong. Or that you've brought it on yourself. Or that our partner must be inept. Yeah, no. It's nice that it's an easy thing for you, but for some of us, our bodies just don't work that way. Not because of desensitisation, despite (in some cases) phenomenally talented and/or communicative partners. I'm just built that way, and that's OK. Sorry bout it

I feel like the plastic stuff is just not great to feel on your skin. The softer plastic maybe? jelly ish material that is too soft feeling, I feel like germs get trapped even though I wash it before and after. They need to make vibrator bags. What do you guys keep yours in? There are certain materials that have been the best to my knowledge. A certain silicone I think it was. I am always trying out different combos to get my job done.

Jelly and rubbers are porous, so they can only be used on yourself unless you use condoms with them (which also helps with clean up). They can be cleaned, but they're not sterile. They can also break down over time and shouldn't be stored touching each other. Silicone, glass, and metal are nonporous. Much easier to keep clean, and don't chafe as much. Lelos come with satin bags, but I can keep it in anything basically, the silicone doesn't pick up lint or anything like jelly/rubber does. The eroscillator and hitachi don't have anything to carry them in, they just get tossed in a backpack and when they're home they're in a box of next to the bed or in a nightstand. The rest of the toys are in ziplocks in a giant storage tub. The ziplocks are to keep them from melting each other...cuz that sucks.

The rewards are *well* worth it though. That side of my life is extremely satisfying ;-) It just gets a bit annoying when people decide that you must be wrong or inferior because you don't orgasm after five minutes or through penetration. Eff that noise!

Eff that noise! i'd say that as long as you enjoy your intimate time with yourself or your partner, you're doing it right our bodies are all different instruments, different chords and notes, different resonances, different skill levels to operate, different buttons, etc. its convenient for the player when there is one major bright red button to make a beautiful melody just by pushing it, but simplicity is certainly not required to be a beautiful instrument with a powerful resonant

I would fill the shit out of that position only companies really really invested in developing toys for the hard to please would be interested though. I have a theory that the majority of "OH MY FUCKING GOD THIS THING IS THE BEST THING EVER JESUS CHRIST ITS ACTUALLY TOO POWERFUL I CANT BELIEVE IT I LOVE IT TO DEATH!!!!!" Reviews are coming from extremely sexually repressed people who never even looked sideways at their shower head before and this is the first thing besides their partners dick that's ever touched their junk, they'd get off to their cell phone ringing if they tried it. Their experiences are valid, it IS the best thing ever - for them. Completely worthless to helping me choose a toy though

my new eroscillator just came in the mail... tried it out and gotta say this... i heard it was more portable than the hitachi, had more cord than the hitachi, had more speeds than the hitachi, was super quiet for a vibe, had tons of attachments for a vibe, etc. ive ben debating it for awhile cause very few people in my sex positive community have them.. its mostly marketed to housewives who are sex deprived and such... well now i see why its loud. unless you count when you jam it as hard as you can against your body which then hurts and theres little vibration to feel then lol. the high is as loud as the low hitachi sound if its not pushing your clitoris back into your body. the medium sounds like an electric razor and the low like an electric toothbrush. you can hear them outside of a bedroom for sure. all vibes are quieter when smashed into your lady bits, that doesnt make that worth it though with the attachments on its nearly the same size as the hitachi so its still quite large. you're only savin an inch and a quarter. the cord is long yes, cool when you wanna use it while walking around i guess otherwise packing it up is more annoying lol there are only 3 speeds. low is soo low that im guessing a virgin couldnt feel it even if they pulled their hood back and put it right on the nerves... high is too high for the point on accuracy it needs to be felt unless you're massively desensitized or barely let it touch you in which case its loud... so only one speed was semi pleasurable. medium the attachments mostly are variations of the same feeling. there are multiple cut out type cups, multiple ones with different patterns of nodules, and this weird knife blade thing which i can imagine where you'd use that one lol. so out of 6 tips it comes with there are really only 3 variants. though theres a couple other ones out there its useles if you lube the tip and like to move stuff around as if its 1mm away from your clitoris it doesnt feel like anything is happening. for the price it was useless... after a 30 min trial of all speeds with all attachments, i switched back to the hitachi to get the job done and chucked this thing in a drawer to eventually give to one of my girlfriends down the road lol there are other types of stimulators that are way less money and smaller if you like this type of precision sensation. this one just isnt worth half of its price... no wonder they had to pay celebrities to endorse it haha it also looks highly suspicious. if you bring a hitachi with you everywhere it just looks like a back massager to vanilla friends and family... this is pretty obvious what its for but to each clitoris their own
