What's Your Addiction?
So, what are you addicted to? Let's keep this thread confined to legal addictions. What can you not live without? ... Smartphone? ... Coffee? ... MM Forums? ... Video games? ... Sugary Soda? ... Internet Music? What's yours? Jul 21 14 10:02 am Link NPR and pizza are things I can't go too long without Jul 21 14 10:07 am Link Fats, simple carbs, coffee Jul 21 14 10:07 am Link Eggs. Reeses Peanut Butter and Chocolate ones. Jul 21 14 10:08 am Link Coffee. I decided to stop drinking, which is awkward, because I work 2 days every week in a biker bar where heavily tattooed, bearded old men are constantly wanting to do shots with me, but I often say "Grey Goose" and replace the shot with water anyway. I guess I'll just be doing that a lot more now, which is fine. I'm good at being discreet, and they never know it's water. Therefore, Grey Goose can no longer be my addiction - not that I could ever afford to drink it much anyway. Jul 21 14 10:08 am Link This morning I made scrambled egg whites (from a carton) with stir fried frozen sliced peppers and onions and some curry and red pepper. Also a large Fuji apple and a cup of coffee. Then an hour later I wolfed down two whole wheat sandwich thins with too much Laura Scudder's peanut butter. And another large Fuji apple. This amazes people who see me eat, and are like, "You're going to regret eating a whole bowl of peaches." No, actually, the only things that bother me are ice cream and really fatty foods, like fried stuff. It's really a pretty good motivator to keep me away from fish and chips.
