So this is the video you were talking about in your other thread.

I'm not sure what other outlets there would be for this other than Vimeo or YouTube, but then, I'm not really sure what I'm looking at here.  Aside from the little personality part at the end, the model doesn't look terribly happy throughout the video.  It's not selling me on wanting to work with her.

I'm sure she's very lovely in person.

Still.  I think video is important moving forward.  Few people do it well, so that's a frontier that's still available.  I think it's pretty easy to get "good enough" at taking photographs.  Creating a compelling video is a whole different ball game.

As long as you like it, the model likes it, and the editor is happy with it, you've created a success.

This would likely be a hit with fur fetishists.

I don't get it. What am I watching here? All I saw was a grumpy, frowning model moving in slow motion with a fur coat.

Should this maybe be moved to Achievements and Accomplishments?

Is the OP asking something or making a commentary that is appropriate for General Industry?

I'm asking both mods and the OP.

Well, Good Egg... perhaps.

Since you have already treated us to your gratuitous critique.

My view is that all comments are welcome.

But... I'll be happy to let you know when I want your critique?

Thanks for the bump.

LOL.

I apologize.  You just built the video up so much in your other thread, I suppose I was just let down a bit.  But who cares what I think.

If you like it, that's good enough.  I was only wondering if this thread is in the wrong forum.  How does this have anything to do with General Industry?  You haven't asked a question, nor did you ask any opinions on anything.  And I suppose even if we DID offer opinions on your original post, it would be difficult to NOT interpret it as a critique, which is not appropriate for any section other than the Critique forum.

Still... I think that video is going to be an important addition to photography for both photographers and models moving forward.
