I pulled mine out  of the drawer a couple of weeks ago and sent it back to the factory.

Sterling silver is soft.

Good thing they have a lifetime warranty.

I've had mine since  '94: It carries a lot of emotional baggage.

When I gave up smoking a couple of decades ago, it was almost harder to give up my Zippo that it was to give up the cigarettes themselves.

Mini, acquired in the early 80's.

Last Year I dropped it and the hinge broke. I had no idea they carried a lifetime warranty, after reading so I sent it off to Zippo. Communication was excellent and the lighter was returned within 2 weeks with a new hinge, new 'guts' and some flints. The old innerds were returned also and I use it keeping the new for spares if ever needed.

I have an engraved Zippo my wife gave me some ten years ago when I was smoking cigars. After she gave it to me I put it away, never having filled it with fluid. The cigars are long gone now (cough, cough), but I still have that engraved Zippo...
