Maybe they are taking on the "razor and blades" model of marketing. Flashes use batteries, sell flashes so people will use your batteries.
I may check into their stock and see if there is potential for profit.

It's unlikely that the flash is actually manufactured by Energizer. It's more likely that the name was licensed to a distributor and the name was stamped onto a flash made by an aftermarket company.

I think that I also saw that flash at Best Buy.
I'm happy with my Canon flash.

Their speedlights are most likely highly inefficient and go through batteries like crazy.

That's what I was thinking to...just a white label of something else, like the whole Godox/Neewer type of thing. Same item, different name. If I had to bet though, it was way less in quality than even the average 3rd party speedlight.
Next week comes the Duracell speedlight, to be followed by the cheaper Eveready speedlight.
