I caught the photo bug in my late teens, and have been shooting for over a decade now. I have done work with and for musicians, actors, comedians, models, jugglers, acrobats, and porn stars. While I have plenty of experience working in hectic, fast paced shoots, I prefer to work in a more relaxed environment in which I can build a rapport with my subject. I view photography as a collaborative act, and I value the input of those I work with. My favorite shoots are the ones in which the models take an active role in the creative process.

In the short term I am looking to build my portfolio with interesting and exciting projects, and of course in the long run I am looking for paid work (I should say that, despite over a decade taking photographs, years of academic study, and a degree, I still haven't a clue as to how one makes money in the industry, so if anyone has advice on the subject, I'd love to hear it. I hate to admit it, but until I figure it out, it is unlikely that I will be offering paid gigs for models, stylists, MUAs, etc.)
