Being an past adrenaline junkie, I seeked a hobby that would be "safer" and a bit on the mellow side. I started off doing strictly scenic/landscape shots. The addiction(yes addiction) grew worse as I would find myself hiking to extreme locations JUST to get a shot different than everyone else. Before I realized it, I was taking shots of skaters doing tricks inches away from me, and motorcycle stunters pulling endo's right in front of my camera. More recently I have dabbled on the "portrait" aspect of photography. I enjoy taking candid shots and displaying pictures that "tell a story". So in my quest to find a "mellow" hobby, I on the contrary, have found a hobby that's very exciting and at some times, dangerous. Not only can maintain my need for a rush, I can share with people those experiences as well. My goal is not to make a fortune in the photography business. But rather to get these two reactions with myself and with others: 1. Wow that shot is insane! 2. Where was this shot? I've lived here all my life and I've never seen it. Happy shooting!
