While I do not profess to have the expertise of many photographers’ whom I admire, I do have an appreciation for capturing the everyday obscurities. I revel in the mundane with the hope of making the ordinary a little less so. I particularly enjoy those unexpectedly candid moments, when in that split second, you are given a glimmer of insight into those vulnerable places which one rarely gets to see.
I have an interest in a range of subject matter, but I do especially enjoy photographing people. There is so much that a photograph can tell about someone, their vulnerabilities ,emotion and personality all show themselves. It is both a challenge and a joy when I am able to capture that effectively.

I was born in Trinidad & Tobago, and although I did not live there for very long, I believe that there is an inherent rhythm which runs in the vein. The eye rests more easily on color, patterns, music, and the ebb and flow of life.
My journeys through India, Indonesia, China and Japan, have only served to whet my appetite for more. I marvel at how all at once we are all so different in the clothes we wear, the languages we speak, and the degree to which we can understand each other but then again, when pressed, we can share the humor, the pain and the love for many of the same things. It is my hope to be able to illustrate this through my work.

Interestingly enough, I have also found that if you stand on any street corner, in any village, town or city, you will invariably find something magical. My goal is to press the shutter fast enough to capture it.
