Darkness is a running theme in nearly all of my work. My paintings, even the non-macabre subjects, almost always have a dark feel. Unconsciously, or perhaps consciously, my photographs come out this same way.

I am first and foremost a painter and wish to return to that first love. Photography is simply a way of remaining creative with my busy schedule.

Although I do sometimes feature clothed models in my art, the female nude is my artistic focus, so don't approach me if this isn't an option.

I'm a picky fellow! I don't like an overabundance of tattoos or piercings on models. I prefer a natural bush over shaved. I don't care for shaved heads, half shave heads or bangs (Bettie Page is dead, people, Move on!). I also prefer natural colored hair over, say, green or blue. I am at my core a Victorian.

The artist/model relationship is, I feel, a very sacred one. This one-on-one connection is the first, and most important, step in creating beautiful art. It is for this reason that I will not allow escorts at my shoots. I find they are a disruption, however quiet an escort tries to be. If any model with whom I've expressed an interest in working has any doubt, do your due diligence. I've worked with some of the best-known names on MM and even hosted a few, so I trust any model in my credit notes or portfolio will provide a positive reference.

I don't accept fly-by friend requests. I don't respond to models' requests to shoot or the bothersome "Heads up! I'm in town" announcements.

Finally I would like to express my gratitude to the models with whom I have worked over the past few years. They have been wonderful and I appreciate their work.
