About Me

Hey all... my name is Lilian. I am new to the wonderful world of model mayem... I am... a ummm.. model??... or so I want to be at least. I say this because being a model is a "JOB" .. meaning that you work for it and get paid in return. Unfortunately I have not.. one, put enough work into it... and have not had too many actual "paid" assignment.
I have been told since I was a little girl that I belong in front of the camera, and sure enough with out even "trying".. that's exactly where I ended up. I have been fortunate enough in my path of life to meet some very wonderful photographers, MUA's, and hair stylists who encouraged me to try my hand, and that's exactly what I did.. some "test shoots"... I started a myspace page and realized that people really "did" like my look!!.. with over 1000 veiws in a month, several proposals, and recognition from many.. I thought "wow"?! I really "should" take this thing more seriously!!.. before I knew it I was doing hair shows, make up catalogs, websites, clothing adverts, and now I will be featured in "The Source" magazines october issue!! Now I feel I HAVE to take this seriously!! I can't turn my cheek to all that god has blessed me with and is putting in front of me!!!  I have always had dreams of being in the entertainment industry, and it is something I have always longed for and surely enjoy : ) ... but now it is time that I take this dream and  turn it into a "GOAL" and reality!!..  someone once told me..  "closed mouths don't get fed!!"... well.. I'm hungry and ready to eat!!..  : )

I came to model mayhem to help further my skills, learn some tricks of the trade, get some good advice and direction, build my portfolio and resume and of course opportunity and work.  If anyone is interested in doing work with me please let me know. My time is very limited, between being a mother, owning my own business, being a broker and an insurance agent, I have always got my hands in something!! But I will do "ALL" that I can to make room for any project that I may find beneficial.
