Hey there once again Jacob!
Here's one that I did...
Original:

And my retouch:

Kind of a nice image to begin with, so I hope I didn't ruin it by adding all the effects and stuff.
Thanks for sharing!

I'm putting these photos in my portfolio for college.
So, if someone could help me out and retouch anyone of these.
i would be more than grateful.

I was gonna wait till morning, but this time change has messed up my sleeping schedule... lol

I added a bunch of new ones to the FOR RETOUCH album... have at it guys and gals! :-)

ps: if you intend for me to use your edits in my online port, they need to be as close to full-size as possible (at least 800px wide) big_smile

Trying out a new style of retouching(at least for me it is), so I hope you like it and it doesn't look too weird.

You should edit your post to get those pictures under 600px wide (see Rules on page 1)

I know you don't want to hear this, but the best way to get those shadows under control is to reshoot, and this time move the subject away from the wall.

That said, this one had the most to work with:
https://ezpkns.com/retouch/pilot015before.jpg
https://ezpkns.com/retouch/pilot015-after.jpg

At 17, you're getting a good early start at learning to muddle through the technical pitfalls that stand between you and realizing your great ideas. Good luck.

I saved it full size, but will link to smaller ones here as per rules on page 1...

Good pictures are always more work; they inspire excellence, plus I don't want to "smear" the original too much.

EDIT: I may be out of practice as far as speed goes, but I was so pleased with how her skin turned out, that I couldn't resist posting a detail:

Well, Emily Marie, this is my first time photoshopping ANYTHING, but here you go:

Original

https://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii10/dlalitha/200cihe.png

Retouched

https://i260.photobucket.com/albums/ii10/dlalitha/200cihecopy2.jpg

One's with brown eyes and one's with green.  Personally, I like the green better, 'cos it puts more color in the photo, but they're not very believable, so whatevs.

I want to learn retouching so I can make some quick cash through my first year of law school (not allowed to have a snoop jobby job.)  OK, well, I'm off to bed, DEUCES!

Looking for some retouch advice here. I am by no means a photoshop wizard; just looking to improve my skills.

I took this image:
https://www.amorphicmedia.com/photos/retouch/beforesm.jpg
(larger http://www.amorphicmedia.com/photos/retouch/before.jpg)

and came up with this:
https://www.amorphicmedia.com/photos/retouch/aftersm.jpg
(larger http://www.amorphicmedia.com/photos/retouch/after.jpg)

I did some color correcting to try to reduce some of the orange skin color, and some sharpening (hair, eyes, lips). Also obviously removed the screw from the wall...

Generally, her skin is kind of blotchy (weird tan lines) and I would like her to glow a bit more.
Any advice?

It's great to see all of the new faces on the thread, however as stated in the title
please READ THE RULES BEFORE POSTING.  This whole page has gotten way out of hand with more than one image per post (to be edited), the size of the images, and watermarking.

Now I would like everyone who has posted to this page, including replies & quotes, to go back in and edit your posts to come into compliance with the rules as stated in post #1 on page #1.
