the gal on fox isn't what i consider news. she's more commentary. and for all the bashing people do on cnn, their worldwide bureaus far outnumber their competition. they have one of the biggest news "gathering" machines in the world. that doesn't make them the most reliable, but it makes them resourceful.

A few years ago there was a blonde on CNN.. I forget her name. she did mornings with Bill Hemmer. CNN did a commercial that showed a woman's hand pulling up a zipper very slowly, and then cut to her, suggesting that sex sells for American Morning viewers. I think that commercial ran twice before she saw it and it never ran again.
It shouldn't matter why you watch the news as long as you watch it.

Fox News does a good job in selling sex. They make sure to hire the hottest of the hot conservative anchors/contributors, with the exception of Gretta but that's fine, she does her job well. They also wear some nice short skirts. The mainstream media is a lot like Hollywood, they look for people with the right 'look' (IE attractiveness), with women being under more pressure than men to meet this criteria obviously. Even local news shows this. I have a huge crush on Denver news anchor Natalie Tysdal.
