This is not a model slam, so please don't take it that way.  I just thought it was humerous.

I am working on a farily large commercial project with bodypaint right now.  We put out a casting notice on one of the bigger casting services, explaining that the project involved bodypaint, that the model would be undraped and that we'd be painting directly on the skin.

I got a call from the casting person last night.  She kept getting the same question from models and she wanted to know how to answer it.  Girls were repeatedly asking what they would be wearing under the paint.

I just chuckled when she asked.  Oh well.

I thought maybe you could come out and check on some of the models for us and then you could give us the definitive answer!

If a model asked me what to wear beneath bodypaint, I'd say "antiperspirant would be good if it were warmer, but I don't think you'll need that because we are intentionally going to be keeping the entire place very cool."  Greetings from Minnesota, where nipples are perky most of the year.  Come, visit, bring warm clothes.

Haha, yeah, well she wasn't calling me because she didn't know the answer, she was calling because she was amused to get the question.  I think she was just passing on the chuckle to me and I am passing it onto you.

Good one.

That reminds me of the time I had two models scheduled for a shoot. The first model shows up, and she is almost done when the second model walks in. The second model takes Dan aside and says "Ummm, I want to get bodypainted, but I didn't know we'd have to be nude for this"

The funny thing is, she said she had looked at our work already....go figure.

Body paint, BODY paint, body... paint!

lol, when they ask me what they need to bring, I tell them just make sure you bring your body.  I haven't had anyone show up and be surprised, yet.
