I am creating a list for a friend...just curious if I'm leaving anything obvious out...

suicidegirls.com
trashykittens.com
godsgirls.com
fatalbeauty.com
razordolls.com
exploiteddolls.com
daddysdarlins.com
onlypaperdolls.com

I am sure there has to be more...I don't really care about people's opinions of each site (because I have my own and a few aren't so great)...I am just looking to perhaps add to this list.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!!

Some of these sites might apply, but it depends what you mean by alternative modeling.  SG is first on your list.  Are you considering that the paradigm example of an alternative girl site?  You probably already know this, but there are a number of threads in the MM forums about how restrictive SG's modeling contract is.

Some of these sites are more goth (or other tangents) than alternative - if you want to make that distinction.  And some are basically nice looking, but professionally managed, soft porn sites and may not have the forums/blogging features.

blueblood.com
brokendollz.com
inkygirls.com
nofauxxx.com
manicjane.com
gloomdolls.com (site not working)
perversefixation.com (site in beta)
gothchix.com
punkyboobster.com
barelyevil.com
blood-dolls.com
gothicsluts.com
rubberdollies.com
eroticbpm.net
rockstarpixies.com

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate the long list. I am simply referring to alt. model sites that offer pay for photosets. As stated before: it's merely a list for a friend.

SG being first on the list doesn't mean anything at all...it's the first I just so happened to type. I am a past-suicidegirl and I have refused to sign thier latest contract. As stated previously...I have my own opinions already...I am just looking to add to the list for a friend of mine who has asked me for a list.

not the same as deviant nation, its a great site for models, photogs, writers, artists. It's free and I have over 300 pics up on it myself!

Thanks. I'm a member as well. But I'm looking for alt. *paid* sites. A photograher friend of mine is trying to help some models out...looking to generate a little more income.

It may not be alt enough for you?  But it is a large site (more than 10 million pictures) that pays models for their picture sets.

Just take Suicide Grisl off the list, you dont want any part of them. I know just about every girl on Daddys Darlins, and theyre up and coming, but I dont know if they allow others to shoot for them. GodsGrils is probably the best quality wise, but again, unsure if they allow otehr photographers.

They don't. They occasionally invite "guest" photographers, but don't allow random model-submitted sets. smile Just FYI

If you have info on the terms/policies of these sites, people (including me) might be interested in learning:

- What do they pay per set?
- Is there a min or max number of allowed sets per model?
- Will they use outside photographers?
- Are models held to a non-compete type agreement?

Good advice.  SG is bad news.

I know quite a bit about several of the sites listed in this thread. Anyone curious is welcome to message me about any specifics and I'll give you what info I can, as typing it all out here could take half a page wink (and I have some opinions on a few of them that might be best left up to private discussion, lol)

Because it pays.  $500 for a set.  Some people need money.  Just a thought.

Other sites pay as well, in fact, because some of them pay percentages of memberships, you're likely to get more money in the long run.

Then factor in the fact that SG sometimes holds off payments to models b/c they did something wrong and didnt tell her. Ive also heard stories ofmodels not getting paid simply because their view count wasnt very high.

Not to mention, that with otehr sites, you're actually ABLE to shoot for other sites as well, including your own. However, if you do SG and EVER shoot for another website - EVEN YOUR OWN - they'll sue your ass off.

Probably not.  Without nudity there wouldn't be enough revenue to pay the models.

Great, $500 once IF they're lucky and then they can never work for anyone else again.

zivity.com (currently in Beta) pays and the photo rights aren't exclusive, so you can use them however you want.

I am with Gods Girls and they have been great to me. I am shooting my 1st set for them next week. Deviant Nation is also a great site to be apart of. they are a really friendly and creative site wink Hope this helps!

SG pays 500 dollars each to the model and photographer for a set consisting of 40-50 or so images

There is no restriction to the amount of sets you can submit each month
the models now have a non exclusive contract
I'm not sure about the photographers exclusivity... I believe you can't shoot for competitive sites for two years or whatever...
but
You definately wouldn't make the amount of money as you would with SG so does that part matter?

Anyone know of any alternative modeling sites that do not require nudity that are good? even if they don't pay? Let me know if you know of any good ones.
Thanks
