Keep in mind I am no pro. This is an outstanding image, the colors are brilliant, it's very crisp, and a very creative idea.... so the only thing that I think distracts from the image is the flame is right over the tree in the background and it makes my eyes do funny things for a second. Remember no pro here..... this is fabulous work, I'd post the shit out of it ! heh

Ugh, please don't shout at this for me, but I just love archery and needed to nitpick. His hands should be on the lower half of the rubber grip to ensure the tail doesn't cut his fingers, and having his finger rested on the arrow will ensure that it does tongue

Sorry. Anyway, about the picture.

I love the model's expression, and the angle, as well as lighting and composition. Could be a bit more intense, but other than that, it's good stuff.

Also, I agree with Hostile, that tree is really distracting. Consider cloning it out.

Nice photo, but it doesn't work as an avatar.

The image is too small to see in avatar size.

Something more simple and graphic would work.

Yes, I agree now that I see it so small. I am going back to goop face.

I agree with everyone about the tree, but I think the photo is fantastic.

I also love that you've named your display picture 'goop face' Lol smile

I like it. I agree about the tree... now that others mentioned it. My only nitpick would be I'd like the see the bow flexed more. What editing software did you use for this... PS, Photomatrix...?

Photoshop and that's as far as the bow goes! It's a stiff mofo.

Oh and I took out the tree. I like the composition better but the black of the tree really made the flame pop from the image.
