For this week’s contest, I’d like to submit Rachele Doiron – (1712478). We had our first meeting on June 20th, and directly afterwards, we scouted around for some decent locations to do some test shots. These were taken in an abandoned location, in aprox. 95 degree heat. She had a really upbeat personality without even a hint of discomfort. She’s a real treat to work with and I highly recommend her.

Hi, please welcome cori from Tampa, MM #1683879. Cori's only been modeling for a very short time and was a very welcome addition to last weekend's Shoot-Out in Sarasota.

I would like to this week introduce Ms. Stephanie Bea Model Mayhem # 1621648.  I had the distinct honor of shooting with Stephanie recently.  Her amazing smile and professionalism for being new to the business was flawless, she was great at setting up times and helping in the creative bond to produce these amazing shots.  I look forward to working with her more on upcoming projects and watching her grow as a young model.

A reminder to all theLIST members: The number of nominees has been quite gratifying, thank you!

But, please review the eligibility requirements before posting a public nomination in the NEWbie Model of the Week Contest. If you have questions about your nominee's eligibility please send me a PM asking for clarification and I'll present it to our TD volunteer panel.

Members who were grandfathered into theLIST, the requirements have only been changed very slightly from the original rules - in fact the only substantive changes have made the requirements a bit more lenient (dropping the time on MM limit).

It's been a great pleasure photographing Corissa Victoria, MM #1365840, over the last few weeks. I discovered her on Model Mayhem, and although her then standard 10 shots left to be desired, I could see that there was a lot more in her just waiting to get out. She proved me right - she shows confidence and charisma, friendliness and sex appeal. Here are some examples of our sessions - I'd like to nominate Corissa as my Newbie Model of the Week.

I first noticed Stacia O., MM #1364991, in a café in San Francisco while I was having breakfast with my daughter.  I very seldom invite people that I meet on the street to do a photo shoot, but Stacia's smile as I was leaving pushed me over the edge and I gave her my card.  Two weeks later, she contacted me about shooting a set.  I only wish that she lived closer to San Francisco; she's already getting lots of attention from Reno area photographers!  Now that we've done our second shoot together, I'm pleased to re-nominate her for Newbie Model of the Week.

This week it is my honor to introduce Ms. Riley Renee model mayhem # 1656325.  What can I say about Riley other then she is one amazing model to work with and a dear friend.  Riley stepped up this spring with little to no experience as a model to shoot a very controversial shoot with me, on the taboos that we as a society have about sex. She gave amazing insight and was always reaching to push the topic and the shoot even further.  Then she and I reunited this last month again to shoot a fun idea that she had brought to me.  She is beyond words amazing to work with and it is my honor to submit her this week.

Re-nominating Ninaluv, MM #1475116.  Nina is the cousin of a model I shot with when I traveled to Puerto Rico recently, and the photos below are from her very first shoot.  The images are unretouched except as noted and Nina did her own hair, makeup, and wardrobe.  We shot six looks in about four and a half hours. 

Nina's also a new mom, having given birth only two months before our shoot.

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Top Drawer, it gives me great pleasure to introduce Kyla M.  It has been my pleasure to shoot with Kyla three times, and none could be considered the best of conditions.  The first two were late last fall with temps below 45 and the last was last week with temps in the 90's, but she never complained, never faltered and did whatever she needed to to capture what we were after.  As you can see she is capable of a wide variety of looks.
