Alexandra is fun, beautiful, talented and bright... She is super fun and easy to work with and can strike winner poses quickly with minimal direction. She has experience in sports and works as a personal trainer. As such, she keeps in shape and practices sports all the time. She is trying modeling to see where it lands her. Besides the pics from our shoot, she's got some other good ones in her port. But I think her potential is waiting to be expanded.. I know, we normally regard that type of description as amateurish, delusional, or at best less than self-motivated. However, in her case I totally concur that she is a natural at modeling, silky smooth and subtly expressive, and I myself would have encouraged exactly the same. Jovan poses and emotes naturally with very little direction. He is creative, professional, very down-to-earth, and easy to work with. He has a handsome look, agency-measurements, and a masculine build without being imposing/intimidating. What is especially refreshing is that Jovan has an old-fashioned respectful gentle attitude that is becoming rarer these days (perhaps due to his growing up in Eastern Europe), and I am one who treasures these old-fashioned values ("be nice," per my parents) even when the modeling world (or the rest of the world for that matter) seems to increasingly value ruthless cut-throat competitive characters in a person. Since then, she has been quite persistent in pursuing leads and actively responding to casting calls wherever possible, instead of passively waiting for photographers to contact her. As a result, she has recently bagged quite a few runway walks for a relative newbie. She has the drive to go far very quickly. I recently had the opportunity (or some might say an unfair advantage) of photographing her in the sweltering heat/humidity in Shanghai, and she was full of energy, although I was about to drop dead. Although Sarah only recently joined MM, I took the liberty of contacting her during a visit to the country, and at that point her experience was in only working with a couple of national photographers. I could tell immediately she was a born natural, versatile, professional in her approach (arriving early to the shoot). Even though her English language is limited she took direction well and needed little prompting to achieve the perfect pose. A pleasure to work with and I know she will go on to even greater levels with her positive, easy going approach to the work at hand.
