Nor-Cal Photography/Model Community
Ive been a part of the Vegas community Thread ( https://www.modelmayhem.com/po.php?thre … 912&page=1 ) and loved how they all came together in previous threads. The thing is, I live over here in the Central Valley. I think its time to start my Own COMMUNITY THREAD and get the Nor-Cal artists closer together. Its a cool thing when you get local Artists together and create some Awesome images. This thread is for all the Photographers, Models, Mua's, ETC in the Nor-Cal Area. Post whatever you want. Photos from recent shoots, behind the scenes stuff, or if you just want to kick it and talk shop. If there are any MEET N GREETS in the area, or just want to get to gether and shoot, Feel free to post in this thread. We have been doing an 'OPEN HOUSE' so to say at PHARAOH STUDIOS in Manteca every thursday. You know I used to stay in Stockton, right by the delta and UOP, so im a adopted brotha of the 209 wanted to let you know, when i get out there, it wont take much for me to make a great pic. This was taken at 1am, no flash, ISO 800, 1/30th shutter, and just dodged and burn a couple spots. Feb 08 10 10:58 pm Link My contribution: So this weekend we had a quick little shoot that involved 2 suites at a hotel here in town (Sacramento), 1 amazing wardrobe stylist, 1 kick ass hair stylist, 2 talented MUA's and 11 models I've been fortunate to call friends, along with 6 photographers that just have a good time shooting together (including the guy that taught me all that I know, Xue Vue #90501) And his work made all the models smile: www.modelmayhem.com/jjhill These are a couple of quick edits, but my whole first page in my portfolio was shot there on different days:   It was a great night, with great shots that we're all recuperating from. I think "Central Valley/Bay Area" is a more appropriate location description for this thread.
