This one is of my fiance, and themed after her favorite movie, TWILIGHT.  This one is an attempt to be Alice Cullen during the baseball scene.  After taking the photo, I used layers and clarity techniques to give it more of a unrealistic look.  I colored her eyes the gold color from the movie.  I took an old photo of lightning that I took a few years ago, and used layers to blend it in to the background. I did some extra burning in her hair.

Processing:
Photograph- Cleaned up the skin and background, brightened and added the further background (which was black in the original photo), added dragonfly wings which were turned partially transparent and a color tint to match the background for a realistic vibe, gave the hair a false/PS highlight and dye job, added a lens flare, and a very slight green/blue duotone.

Shot with a Canon 40d, processed entirely in CS5. Used one layer for Lucisart plugin, and three more layers for the light. This was shot in an abandoned slaughterhouse, found these old light fixture shades that used to hang from the ceiling. Propped them up so I could add the spotlights in photoshop. Total time 1 hour.
