Sep 04 11 03:40 am Link I have been on both sides. I was 110 pounds all through my teenage years and for my early/mid 20's. Then I started putting on weight for various reasons. Now I am plus-sized. I did modeling when I was skinny. But when I put on weight I stopped and hated having my picture taken for a very long time until one photographer talked me into doing a nude shoot, just for fun. I did. He was amateur and the pics weren't wonderful, but they were good enough that I was able to see that even though I was plus-sized...I was still "pretty." I could still look good in front of the camera. I just had to do things differently. Slowly, I have been getting back into the swing of things and I am really enjoying it. I am dieting and I am hoping to get down down to about 40 pounds less than I am now, bit I don't ever expect to be that 110 pound, size 5 that I once was. But I have learned that size does not define beauty. And I do like models with some shape to them, the more classic look. The more and more I look at the tiny little things...the less I am impressed.
