What movies would be like without those to write scores for...

Wish this guy would throw together an orchestra, and tour the US..

You know, I never was before but his work with Chris Nolan has become something of an obsession with me...

I just can't get over the stuff he did for Inception....I'm listening to it right now actually

I love that he was smart enough to just let Lisa Gerrard be herself.

What's strange is Hans has been around for a long time.  He did Lion King.  But he did something unique with Nolan: the Joker's theme was influenced by the Dead Presidents theme.  Molossus sounds like Jan Hammer's Crockett's Theme.  Really works for the new Batman films, imo.

I actually went to see Inception twice.  The 2nd time, just to really listen to the score -vs- seeing the movie.  If that makes sense.

not a huge fan, but i liked parts of "the thin red line" soundtrack. that plus some of the stuff that he and lisa gerrard did for "gladiator", even though the film itself was atrocious.

YOu want to hear something really freaky about that Inception song? Apparently, it's just like an Edith Piaf song slowed down...

I can't imagine watching like a 75 piece orchestra playing his music live in front of me, with him there direceting it, and playing in it.

Some day maybe...

The movie wasnt so hot, but Hans' score was awesome, "Crimson Tide" with Denzel and Gene Hackman.  Perfectly done to accompany the cold war theme of the film.
