Any Hans Zimmer fans here...?
What movies would be like without those to write scores for... Nov 14 10 10:43 am Link The man is truely, remarkable in his field of work. Nov 14 10 10:44 am Link I love that he was smart enough to just let Lisa Gerrard be herself. Nov 14 10 10:44 am Link What's strange is Hans has been around for a long time. He did Lion King. But he did something unique with Nolan: the Joker's theme was influenced by the Dead Presidents theme. Molossus sounds like Jan Hammer's Crockett's Theme. Really works for the new Batman films, imo. Nov 14 10 10:45 am Link I actually went to see Inception twice. The 2nd time, just to really listen to the score -vs- seeing the movie. If that makes sense. Nov 14 10 10:46 am Link not a huge fan, but i liked parts of "the thin red line" soundtrack. that plus some of the stuff that he and lisa gerrard did for "gladiator", even though the film itself was atrocious. Nov 14 10 10:51 am Link My Spotify list consists mainly of Hans Zimmer Nov 14 10 10:52 am Link I can't imagine watching like a 75 piece orchestra playing his music live in front of me, with him there direceting it, and playing in it.
