I wanted an adventure... Careful what you wish for ======================== When the shit hits the fan, it hits hard. Got in a car wreck, driver hit and ran, was held up 2 hours waiting for the cops, missed my flight, my friend I was supposed to meet took a bus to meet me and did not have enough money to get home. So I'm changing plane reservations, wiring money, cancelling hotel rooms and rental cars... Holy hell what a day. =============== No injuries thankfully. I was passing a semi and a guy in a mustang came up behind me doing over 120 and passed between us. He clipped the right front door, fender and bumper. Scraped it good. I will probably have to replace the fender. It could have been MUCH worse. Probably 15 feet difference and he would have hit me in such a way that we both would have spun under the semi. Clearly could have been fatal. After he hit me he just kept going. I tried chasing him but he was GONE. I tried to get the cops to set up something ahead but no luck there. They made me pull over and I had to wait almost 2 hours for Florida Highway Patrol. I get to the airport in time and get stuck behind a guy that is BITCHING at the clerk for 15 minutes. The clerk won't let anyone else go around him while they are having the problem. Finally he gets done, they take him to the counter, take one more ahead of me then when it is my turn they tell me that I missed the flight by 11 minutes, even thought it was 12:27 and the flight did not leave till 1:16. I was like...WHAT THE FUCK!! I was in line and could not get around that jackass! Sorry they said, best we can do is change your flight so you get into Santiago (4 hours away from Santo Domingo) at 3 am. I'm like...yeah...thanks but no. Lucky to be alive. The wind here makes the jetstream on the Skyway seem like a dead calm, there have been two days when it was SO windy my 242 pound azz couldn't walk in it! It's like they had a ski slalom course all set up and some asshat paved it and put out a roadsign. And to add insult to injury, the Chinese food sucks out loud, have you ever been anywhere where they charge you extra for rice in an effin' Chinese restaurant?!? WTF?!? I went to the buffet and spit the Chinese food out and had 2 plates of ice cream. And it was effin' $25!!! No wonder these people talk the way they do and eat moosemeat in a JAR! Somebody better take some pix of boobs and e-mail them to me, NAO!
