Possibly the rain. The nicest sunsets/sunrises I can remember have been after recent rain.

I think I am at the right place. You guys are from Tampa and not some alien planet- I hope hmm Where is a good park to take my model where trees, flowers etc. are found? I need some feedback soon- running out of time. This is in the Tampa or nearby areas.

Do they allow light stands? I was thinking of bringing my AB's and mini. At least in the open area.

I've used flashes on stands up on the main building. I doubt you'd have an issue. I never have.

UT is fine....many shoots there, down by the water is nice. Curtis Hixon Park, right across the river from UT, is a haven for photogs, as well.

Ballast Point Park in South Tampa is very nice. Picnic Island, all the way at the South end of Westshore, has some nice scenery and views.

Two different Botanical Gardens are close by...USF in North Tampa, and the Florida BG on Ulmerton Rd in Largo/Clearwater.

As mentioned, Sunken Gardens is beautiful...one of my daughters was married there.

Lots of places in and around South Tampa are nice for shoots...feel free to message me if you need more info.

The shot is from my friend Rachle Sullivan
f85 prime 1.4
She said she shot it at around f2

No direct flash

I'm pretty amazed by the shot
Because it was flat dark where I was
