I have a large italian nose.
Inherited it from my mother.

I try to make it cute big_smile While I, personally, am not a fan of my nose, I have managed to find ways to make it work. In some, I angle my face so that attention is drawn away from my nose. In others, I use it to my advantage.

I have a pretty large nose as shown in this head shot

Angles, angles, angles and practice, practice, practice. If you are a model with a large nose, you need to know where to point it to make it look appealing or interesting to look at.

Philip, as a hair stylist should you not know how to fashion hair to enhance facial features?  countless hours in a cosmetologist's training are focused on the aforementioned...

as a lens person is it not your responsibility to work diligently with the traits your clients bring to the image equation?  typically frontal/centerline vantage eliminates issues with nose length...

as in this image...
https://photos.modelmayhem.com/photos/110618/10/4dfce1f246428.jpg

For a more academic discussion of the aforementioned you might study Master Lighting Guide for Portraiture in which Chris Gray devotes the better part of a chapter to the issue...

Never a problem, only a challenge... which btw a master of the lens knows how to effectively resolve...

best...

I have a larger nose.  It think it makes me more unique and I embrace everything about myself.

I just ignore it.

My nose isn't particularly large, but it has an odd, bumpy shape and looks kind of like a cartoon witch's nose.

I don't really like being shot in profile too much, though I will submit to it sometimes.

As soon as I reach a point in my life where I'm solidly financially stable, I'm probably getting a nose job.

I wish my nose was bigger ...I feel like it's the worst part of my bone structure because it is rather petite!

If I had the income, I would already have had my nose made as tiny as fucking possible.

Feel free to come to Tejas and shoot mine big_smile

I really don't like my nose at all, and will probably get a nose job when I can afford it.  Until then, as said before, work the angles that look good!

I once had a girl tell me my nose was "huge" and my "pathetic attempt at modeling will never work out."

Lol.  I actually believed her for many years and developed an obsession about the size of my nose.

Then I had photographers and make-up artists comment that my nose was the perfect shape and size.

So I dunno. I don't think my nose is big, but its definitely not a button nose like Gemma Ward's.

Maybe I have a medium nose? Lol.

My half brother is half french/greek and his nose is phenominal!!! If he had a smaller one, he wouldn't be as beautiful as he is.

OOOOOH. Okay.
My nose is super narrow. It's just really long. And pointy.
I get told a lot that I have a big nose.

I'm glad noses never sway a person from modeling, I never miss a chance to shoot someone who know's just how to show off what they're given.

Mine is bent in the middle, has a bump half way down and has always seemed too long for my damned face..
Still, it balances out the chin I suppose big_smile

I think its a matter of taste. A prominent nose can be considered a sign of character, nobility even. I probably don't get some work because of my nose but I don't want the kind of work where such things matter anyway.

I am not keen on men with small snub noses generally. So maybe that's how the genes continue!

Not smaller per se, just fixed. I want it less out and flatter

My nose was broken as a child and because of this it's larger than it should at the bridge (correct me if that's the wrong term). It's all about contouring. I shade it even when I'm just going out for dinner. Until I can afford rhinoplasty to correct it my best friend is a slightly darker foundation on the sides of my nose.

Pointing nose directly at the camera lens = good.
Profile shots = bad.

Even lighting = good.
Shadowy lighting (nose casting a shadow) = bad.

But above all else, "sexy" is all about attitude, and "attitude" has nearly nothing to do with the size of the nose.

People tend to have really strong opinions of my nose- they love it or hate it. It seems to be one of the Italian features I got in the genetic lottery. Until the first time I heard someone express such a strong opinion of my nose, I had never even given it a second thought. To me a nose is something I only notice if its particularly big/strange/etc, and I never felt that mine was. It's definitely not a tiny button nose, but I don't mind it tongue

But you can judge for yourself:

Bwahaha. We won the same genetic lottery. Your nose looks a lot like mine. I just have a bump from where I broke my nose. If I didn't have that bump, we would have the same nose lol
