Id like to know how do you think this is done?  He always has great skin tone in his photos. whatever i do i cant get that colour of skintones (skintones are always complementary in colour to the rest of the image).
here are few exsamples:

Looks like cross-processing to me. Check these links to see how to analyze shadow and highlight values. Those will tell most of the tale about what was done. (In this case, there was also some bending in the middle of some curves, such as pulling down the middle of the red curve.)

I suspect the original looked something like this (right):

since this is quite new to me, could you tell me what settings did you use to get back to "normal" photo? and why? if it is not to much trouble

Think in terms of Highlights and Shadows.

To remove the tint.

Use the individual channels in the curve -

Try it first

Setting white and black points will get rid of the cast in the highlights and shadows. For the midtones, I used the gray dropper in different places at various settings -- several different curves layers for those adjustments, selectively applied with the mask.

I thought you menaged to do it only with curves without masks. That way you would have done my life much easier. I can do it using masks and hue/sat layer or solid color layers. But the problem i usualy get is it does not look natural. On his photos iyt looks like the strobe light is filtered towards tungsten but that is not the case. I can never get it to look natural on wrinkeled clothes like on this photo

And the skin tones look great to me. I think becouse of his skin tones i can always recognize it is his photo. Im not able to duplicate this look and i like it a lot.

The split tone cn be done with curves and no masks but not what you just linked

https://www.nataliataffarel.com/spikey123123.jpg I did that with one of your images. You can have the psd - adj layers and masks.

Think !!!! thats my recommendation. Think COLOR... you want cross ? Warm Hi-lites, Cold Shadows... there are many ways to create that in PS. MANY !!!! the simplest being Color Correction.

Im not saying this to sound or be rude. smile

Thank you Natalia for the quick response. I was unable to attend your workshop due to military commitment but this time I am sure I won't miss it. I look forward to your arrival in Singapore smile
