one more how is this done?
Id like to know how do you think this is done? He always has great skin tone in his photos. whatever i do i cant get that colour of skintones (skintones are always complementary in colour to the rest of the image). here are few exsamples: http://attheloft.typepad.com/.a/6a00e54 … c3f970c-pi http://attheloft.typepad.com/.a/6a00e54 … c9d970b-pi http://media.vogue.com/files/filecheck/ … how_v2.jpg Apr 26 12 01:17 pm Link Looks like cross-processing to me. Check these links to see how to analyze shadow and highlight values. Those will tell most of the tale about what was done. (In this case, there was also some bending in the middle of some curves, such as pulling down the middle of the red curve.) https://www.modelmayhem.com/po.php?thre … st15855107 https://www.modelmayhem.com/po.php?thre … st15225821 https://www.modelmayhem.com/po.php?thre … st16402491 I suspect the original looked something like this (right): Apr 26 12 01:37 pm Link Apr 26 12 02:10 pm Link thanks for the links Peano. Apr 26 12 02:11 pm Link since this is quite new to me, could you tell me what settings did you use to get back to "normal" photo? and why? if it is not to much trouble Apr 30 12 10:42 am Link spikey123123 wrote: Think in terms of Highlights and Shadows. For the midtones, I used the gray dropper in different places at various settings -- several different curves layers for those adjustments, selectively applied with the mask. May 05 12 10:50 am Link I thought you menaged to do it only with curves without masks. That way you would have done my life much easier. I can do it using masks and hue/sat layer or solid color layers. But the problem i usualy get is it does not look natural. On his photos iyt looks like the strobe light is filtered towards tungsten but that is not the case. I can never get it to look natural on wrinkeled clothes like on this photo http://s42.radikal.ru/i098/1103/b5/82e6135fcd05.jpg And the skin tones look great to me. I think becouse of his skin tones i can always recognize it is his photo. Im not able to duplicate this look and i like it a lot. Think COLOR... you want cross ? Warm Hi-lites, Cold Shadows... there are many ways to create that in PS. MANY !!!! the simplest being Color Correction. Im not saying this to sound or be rude. May 07 12 12:23 pm Link Hi I am from Singapore Thank you llamamayhem, Peano and Natalie for taking their quality time to reply to this thread and of course and share on getting the looks.
