I know my portfolio is not presentable to any agencies yet... but I'd like some tips/pointers/advice. Busy with school and I've just been shooting for practice.
Leave a reply on any of the following questions:
1. Does it look like I have what it takes to be a model for a decent agency?
2. Which photos are my best/worst?
3. On a scale of 1 to 10, how do I rate as a model?
4. Recommendations on agencies of which I would be fit to apply for?
I don't want to reach too high, get shot down and forever lose future opportunities with the top dog agencies! I know that first impression is usually the last impression in this industry! I'd rather climb the ladder.
#1 Never, never, NEVER put yourself down -- not to your self, not to an agent, not to a client. They (and you) will absorb the attitude said in your words.
#2 I could be wrong, you need to ask some of he more experienced models, but I think you have more than enough to approach any agency with. They want to see you POTENTIAL, not a greatest lifetime body of work, and you've more than demonstrated your potential with what you have now.

Don't put anything off, do it now.
Not trying to put myself down, just trying to improve! Thank you for the advice!

Looks? Yes... Drive, persistence, talent, endurance...etc? Can't tell from looking at pictures.
Start knocking on agency doors. And don't give up easily... it's a VERY competitive field and you are starting late... many girls start in their teens.
You have almost the same expression in all your pics. Smile, be sultry, look off away from the camera, and improvise with the shot. Otherwise I would listen what what some of the othe photogs have been saying and start looking for an agency. I think you have a marketable look.
