I'm trying to figure out at what kind of photographers I should be aiming at. Would you work with me? If yes, what kind of shoot would you like to work on? If no, why not?
Thanks!

I'd shoot beauty with you.
Gorgeous facial structure.

I'd work with you gladly. I'm not a fan of all of your portfolio, but you've got some dazzling work.

You've got a very soft, girl-next-door look that I'd either want to play against or play with completely. Two looks that I'd love to shoot with you:
- uber-cool technobitch in leather and shiny metal, hair wet and slicked back.
- totally World War II vintage, you in a Women's Army Corps uniform with period hair and makeup.

No I wouldn't simply because your style of modelling is too passive to engage me.

Yes! I would want to do a vintage inspired shoot with you, even if I have too many of those. You'd look great in a 60's dress

Yes. Moody portraits and some interesting nudes or partial nudes.

I would actually, not sure what we could (or you want to) shoot but you have great potential for a variety of things.

Have to agree.  I actually like your look a lot but more emotion, energy and risk-taking would make a world of difference.

Thanks for the tip!

Funny how I get quite a view responses here of people who'd like to work with me, but when it comes to people that are closeby, I hardly ever get contacted to do a shoot. I really don't know what I'm doing wrong!

I don't believe you are doing anything wrong. It is so easy to talk about shoots and what we would do on the internet. But when it actually comes down to shooting and doing the leg work, I find so many models........and even some photogs.......get cold feet and disappear. They enjoy the initial attention and then don't have the confidence to make it happen. That is why about 80% of my serious contacts either disappear off the face of the earth or flake.

To answer your question. Yes, I would work with you. You have a very elegant body with engaging eyes. Even though you do not do nude, we could still make artistic photos with implied and/or underwear. Sometimes that is actually better.

Think of it like this. "I'd work with you" just means there's nothing absolutely awful about you or your portfolio. But there's a world of difference between the ease with which a few complimentary words may be appended to a thread like this and a photographer actually booking you. He will compare your port to the large number of other models that are available to him and perform a complex assessment before deciding who to dedicate his time to. Obviously everybody's criteria will be slightly different but what often makes the difference is a couple of WOW shots. That's what you need to differentiate your port and make yourself consistently bookable IMHO.

If I were you I'd target the best photographer you can afford to travel to and try to charm him into shooting you. Unless, of course, you're in the fortunate position of being able to pay him.

Good luck smile

mostly I shoot editorial fashion for publication, for which I need models 5'9+= at size 0/2 -

but I would try a conceptual beauty story with you for speculative publication submissions

I would also be open to shooting glam with you but do not see this approach in your existing portfolio, so perhaps it would not appeal to you....

I would. But I would also want to take your portfolio to a different level, not that yours is bad or saying my ideas are better, just different.

I would love to really push you and get much harder images. I think you have it in you but haven't drawn it out yet.

As others have said, I like your look, but I feel that you lack emotion. Also, I love my models to twist and bend and turn in their poses, and again I do not see any movement at all in your poses.

So sorry, I would have to say no.
