'Retouching' skin by cranking the blur/median filter.

Oh yeah, and octopi on naked people. They are very intelligent, somewhat cute, and should be left to frolic in the sea (i.e. octopi, but in many cases, naked people too.)

Too much post processing. I saw a portfolio the other day that could have been awesome, but it looked terrible. The eyes, in every photo, had been whitened/brightened so much that it looked crazy over the top fake. It looked cartoonish and unnatural. Gotta know when to stop in post processing.

Yea. This. I second the gun safety! Don't play around with that sort of thing.

Hand bras. It makes me want to get a shelf they can just sit them on and call it a day. No need to hold that stuff like that. Have some respect for those mammary glands, ladies.

Myspace angles/above the head. So over that.

Chorister hands. Oh my goodness gracious. That's done. Stop it. No thank you.

Soft focus lens/glamour glow. That shit makes a model look like a fluffy kitten.

Using the American flag as a sheet/wrap/between-the-legs coverup of the cooch/etc.

It's not only overdone and unoriginal, it's disrespectful.
