I need some honesty, so go ahead. Your port is pretty fantastic, so I'll trust your opinion.

I'm new, but check out my port and rip it to shreds if you deem fit.

PicturePerfectImage wrote: Are you still working on this? I would love to hear your comments.. Your pictures have a "penthouse"-like style, quiet vivid and focused on the models, which mostly also look like that "california girl"-type (as far as a non-american like me can imagine). Surprisingly enough you don't go for glamour & nudes. So your works altogether appear a little half-baked. Your fashion is no fashion, your glamour seems like a starting flirt without getting anywere. Some of your "Themes" could be a beginning of a dirty story... I'd say don't hold back any longer and go full throttle! This I like best so far though on the full res it looks like you went too heavy with the face retouch.

sensual light studios wrote: OK First, you write: "[...]I've been shooting for 30 years[...]" How come noone ever shot for "7 years" or "12" or "21"? Why is it always 20, 25 or 30? Years don't count. Quality does. Also: "I've done 70+ model shoots". Shoot numbers don't count. Quality does. You don't show much pictures, but they could be enough if they were more various. You only show 2 models & 2 shoots. This is not enough, especially not with your proclaimed history. They also needed to be sorted out better, pick only the best. I don't think your port would attract much models yet. They'd much more likely come (only) for the money.

You are correct, this portfolio is a sample of my work as I work on completing my BFA and as such does show work from almost 5 years ago, and lacks the updated feel of a professional portfolio. thank you for bringing that to my attention. Thanks MiGel, Appreciate your critique. Ironically enough, I have been studying new retouch techniques to help with the issue you mentioned. I am just getting into fashion and am excited to explore that full throttle. Thanks! All the best!
