Lundqvist deserves to be progressing this post-season for some of his displays, it's almost criminal how much the team in front has let him down.

If anyone knows Playoff Hockey it's Detroit. Blackhawks have the skill to get back into it but it depends if the Wings give them the room to do it. I wouldn't bet on it.

One might think you're fond of Mr. Lundqvist. wink

Yes, the Suks could. Hopefully they won't, & Wings put a stake in their heart tonight.

For some reason, I'm getting the feeling the Red Wings-Blackhawks series is going to go the distance.

Go Sharks! Nice hard fought win.

And how can you not love Brent Burns. Possibly best team photo ever:

Now let's see if the Hawks can force a Game 7 too!

lol  Yeah!  Great shot!  Looks like he just woke up though.   He's smiling there, but I wouldn't want to make him mad.  Hope he goes mad on the LA Kings!   wink

Gotta love game 7's!

And yet, when I watched the Rangers play the Pens in MSG in January 2012, he (Lundqvist) had an absolute stinker of a game - Marc Andre Fleury took him to school.

Rangers have the components, they just can't seem to get it all together at once.

Well, that was the regular season. With like 2/3 of the teams making the playoffs, anyone can look like shit only to get hot when it matters.

With the Rangers nonexistent power play during the playoffs & a defense that had more holes in it than a sieve, I'm a little surprised they weren't more goals scored on them.

Helluva Blackhawks turn around.

Go from starting the 3rd, 1 goal down. Less than 10 minutes later, they're up by 2.

Back to a 1-goal game.

Can the Wings get 1 more to tie with less than a minute left?

Best way to disagree is by having the goalie stop the shot,
Frolik made Howard look foolish.

Two game sevens in the West. Nervous time for this Kings fan, but I do have faith. The boys will get it done! Let's go Kings!

Not sure who I want to win in the Wings / Hawks series. Great composure by the Hawks to come back from 3-1. I love the playoffs. I do hate having everything on NBCSports. The NHL needs a ESPN or a regular network. Maybe more games on NBC.

NHL makes rule changes about as often as a babies diaper gets changed, I don't keep up anymore, & I rarely whine about the refs. But that was pretty weak IMHO.

Yup....Jimmy didn't look too swift on that one....and that one ultimately made the difference.

This 2nd period just got crazy. So many stops on mad rushes.

But 2-0 Kings.

Niemi committed too early.

If my boys win tomorrow, I've yet to figure out if I'd rather see them deal with the Kings or the Minnows, but I do lean to the later.

Shush your face! I don't want this to go to overtime.

Minnows really poured it to them in the 3rd.

Agreed. Jonathan Quick willed the Kings to victory especially in those last 5 minutes.

I betcha whoever wins the Wings-Blackhawks game will not be enthusiastic about facing him. He's just one tough nut to crack.

Pavelski evidently forgot to take his Viagra because he had a sweet chance to tie the game but just couldn't get it up...dammit.

If the Wings win, then the Kings go to the final, but if the Hawks win, then it's a whole different story. Go Chicago!

Great goaltending get's it done! That was the toughest series yet including last year. That could not have been closer.

On to the final. Let's go Kings!

Ouch!  That Quick is just too much like a freaking wall!  Nothing gets past him!  -sigh-  Well if the Sharks are going to lose, better to lose to another California team that won the Stanley Cup last year.  They've got a former Sharks coach and manager.
Go Kings!

Wings get a big break by getting their given up goal waived off.
